This is a Gasparo da Salo inspired viola. It's on the shorter side, at 15.5 inches but it has a big rich sound. It received first place in tone for viola and second place for workmanship for viola at the Southern Violin Association Violin Makers Competition in April 2019.
This is a mid 1730's Guarneri del Gesu model. It has a slightly shorter body length, but produces a lot of sound. It was awarded third place for tone for violin at the Southern Violin Association Violin Makers Competition in April 2019.
